I hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!!

Marissa's travel soccer team had a Halloween tournament in Mt. Olive today and they took second place! Congrats, ladies!

Yay! The bathroom is finished!

First Day of Fifth Grade

Man! Times flies!!! Seems like only yesterday they were starting third grade!

So AJ was so happy to get this puzzle done...and asked me (persistently, I might add) to get his work on the blog. So here ya go! Enjoy, AJ!

So a few weeks ago we took a trip down to see Joe and Debbie's shore house. The kids had a chance to try out their new toys when we went.

And even Anthony got a chance... it was VERY fun!!!How many times in one's life does someone have a chance to have a photo taken with a giant lobster? Do I dare say, not enough!

So last week, the kids came to school with me for "Bring Your Child to Work Day". While they were there, they had a chance to work on the 6th grade sculpting project, "Monsters and Aliens". Tonight, they started to paint their little creations.Funny how the creatures resemble their creators!

So about a month ago Marissa began to express how she doesn't like her room color anymore (who can blame her really, it was a Pepto Bismol pink). It was fine when she was five, but she'd outgrown it.

So the slow room transformation began with Marissa 1st seeing and liking a comforter set when we were at Bed Bath and Beyond. Then just this past week, I went back, bought it for her, brought the pillow sham to Home Depot and matched a paint color.

Marissa was interested in having a couple of colors on her wall. Thankfully, before I did anything with paint, I found these circular removable wall stickers online and cut some of them into smaller circles and rings. Much easier than paint, that's for sure!

So now AJ wants to take a trip with me to Bed Bath and Beyond...
